Trestor 5.85 Kendall moved and Johnson seconded the .motion that the Clerk pay t~e Light Bill for January and February at t%e r%te of $55.?~ per ~onth and call the Power Co,. and tell them that we will pay no more. Carried. T~e Clerk was ordered to get prices on Fire Hose from several companies. Kendall moved and J~hnson seconded t~e motion that the depositoey, the American National Bank, be notified that the Board wants t~e bond raised from $5,O00.00 to $?,O00.O0. Carried. A complaint was read by the Health Officer in regard to the City Dump znd after much discussion, Harvey moved and Johnson seconded the motion that the Dump be closed and signs placed accordingly T~e ump also to be fenced off. Ail men, ers present except L~mb and Pfotenhauer. Johnson w~s declared Pres/ Pro Tom in the absence of Pres. Pfotenhauer. After reading and discussion on several bids for Fi~e Hose, the cont,&ct was ordered signed with the Fabric Fire Hose Co. ef New York, at 45~per~, The ~k*rk was instructed to have the Town Attorney change the Pool Room Ordinance to make allowance for tables~or cards. Players to use only chips purchased from the owner of the Pool Room and chips to be cashed only with merchandise from said Pool Room. The Clerk and Attorney were instructed ~ draw up ~ ordinance ,if necessary, to have killed all. dogs without collars found running loose on the streets after ~ebruary 24, 1934. The Attorney was ordered tn start proceedings against Ollie Harvey for failure to pay past license f~e of $35.00 fez the ye~ ct z933. The Light Contract was signed for the year 193a. ?he contract ~ith Mr. Lee in resmxd to the appraisement of the ~ater Co. was ordered signed, providing the Clerk and Attorney could not ~o %he work.
