Five members of the board took the oath of office: 01d officers C. W. Compton Oscar Applegate Rue Hinshaw Fred Photenhauer Herb Lamb 5th Ward 2nd Ward 1st Ward 3rd Ward 4th Ward Applegate moved and Photenhauer seconded that Rue Hinshaw be made permanent chairman of the board. The vote was unanimous for Hinshaw. There being no further business ~t~e--~eeting a~Journed. Secy. I Pres. January 7, 1936 The board met at the City Hall at 6:30 P.M. All members present except Photenhauer. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The following officers were elected: Dr. Donahue Thomas Evans Robert Deardorf Noel A~ams Noel Adams Health Officer $15.00 City Marshall 50.00 City Attorney 50.00 Water Supt. 480.00 Street Com. 720.00 Lamb moved and Applegate second~m that the board salary be $5.00 per month under the ordnance of April 3, 1928. Votes were unanimous for same. The following bill were allowed: Carmel Garage $35.98 Lights 59.41 Power 21.30 Noel Adams 15.00 0. W. Nutt 6.50 R. L. Follett 30.00 A. E. Boyce Co. 2.10 There being no further business the Meeting adjourned. Pros. 1,56 February 4, 1936 The board met at the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. All members present except Compton. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Light petition was read by Clerk, rel- ative to cost per street light. Write Noblesville Power Co. relating to rate on City Street Lights. Motion to put light at A. W. Almondts residence. Motion carries if the appropriations seem ample. Ledger 21.00 Mr. Cranson made a report on federal tax, on the Carmel Water Co. March 3, 1936 The board met at the City Hall at 8:00 P.M. All members present except Pfotenhauer. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Petition for a light at the corner of College and Walnut Streets was unanamously accepted by the board. The light was to be installed when the funus were ample.
