A petition for city water in the Moffitt Wooas signed by
Fred Crosstreet ~r. an~ Jr. was read. A reply was formulated as
follows:
Carmel, Indiana
February 7, 1939
Mr. Crosstreet:
Aft,:r careful consid~ration of your applicatDn the
Board of Trustees find as follows:
First: Due to a tax cut by State Tax Board our
revenue for 1939 will be,,approximately~700.O0
short of expectation.
Second: Incase of making application for a loan
to make a loop this year we would moubltless have
an injunction fillea since benefit within the cor-
poration would not Justify.
Third: The pressure woul~ be the same, altho the
loop was not complete at this time.
Fourth: be will put the water to the point as
outlines as a trial if it Sees not work from this
point it v,-~ilT not work from the other.
Fifth: Meter would be set within corporation and
minimum bill would be ~.00 per month per hOuse
serves, allowing 2,500 gallons per house per month.
Secy.
Yours very truly,
Pres.
