Vogenberger movea to sign proposal of depository and ~end to
Union State Bank, Y:estfield, Ind.--motion carries.
The Board agreed to impower the Pres. to consult an attorney
concerning a settlement with the Bonding Co.

The Boar~ of Trustees met in the town Bldg. at 7:~0. All
members present except Hlnshaw anu Lamb. Geo. Vogenberger was
appointed temporary chairman. The minutes of last meeting were
read and adopted. Mrs. Geo. Hall an~ Hrs. Ed. France presented
a petition for a light at North ~onon crossing signed by citizens
in that neighborhood. Petition was files to investigate funds.
Geo. Doehlman was present anu asked to have an adjustment
on his water bill which was unusually large due to leak in line
to house, and has not been reau the previous month. Pfotenhauer
moved that no penalty be charged until an investigation be made
for an adjustment.

The Board of Trustees met in special ~ession with all members
present to hear the report of Ernest Cloe and Frank Campbell.
Vogenberger moved to accept the offer of the otate Board of
Accounts if they will give the town of Carmel credit to the amount
of~l$.00, charge for first audit--~ith follow/~udits deducted.

The Board of Trustees met in the town building at 8:00 o~clock
with all members present except Pfotenhauer. The ~inutes of last

Ray Huffman was present and made a bid of $5.00 for hauling
the tin cans and trash--ana $1.00 per load for ashes for the an-
nual clean up. Vogenberger move~ to hire Mr. Huffman to haul the
junk. May 17 was set as the Kate. Maurice Edwards was present
and offered on behalf of the Local Lian, s Club to assist in a
city beautification campaign. Lester Hinshaw, another represent-
ative from the Lion, s Club~ asked consent of the Board to name
streets and number houses in Carmel. Vogenberger moved, Lamb
seconded to leave the matter of naming the streets to the Lions
Club. Plans to be submitteG for a~option at a later Gate,
motion carried.
Vogenberger moved to have the east aug west Main ~t. painted
for parking flat to curb on south si~e an~ angling on north side~
motion carried.
Monday, May 10, was set as night for nomination for election
to town board to be held in Library basement. Notices to be
printe~ and delivered with the cle~n up notices.
The questionaire signe~ by Geo. Doehlman was rea~ ~nd discuss-
ed. Vogenberger moved that the application for rebate be granteG,
seconded by ~pplegate, passe~ unanimous.

The Board of Trustees met in special session in the town build-
ing at 8 P. M. with all ~.embers present except Lamb.
After hearing the re-~ing of the Judges decree and the orders
from the State Board of Health, Vogenberger moved to proceed with
the clean up program asstarteG-Applegate seconded the motion-passed
unanimous.
Pfotenhauer moved that West ~aln Street from 431 to ~illow
~it. be flushed at leastonce a week ~.uring the summer months and
kept at all times in a clean and sanitary condition, Applegate
seconded the motion, vote unanimous. ~~
