The board of trustees met in the town building.
Dawson was absent.
Minutes o£ last meeting were read and adopted.
Minnie Doane and Marie Major were present to inquire about a
memorial drinking fountain for Vina Hinshaw, presented by the
American Legion Auxllliary. Geo. Vogenberger moved, Brooks seconded
to install and maintain a fountain, if the AUXllliary buys one.
H. Berger, fire chief, was present and gave a report on the fire
dept. It was found that the dept. is short of hose, and since
Trustee Ramsay was also at the meeting, he requested the clerk
to notify the various companies that the town will accept bids on
hose.

The board of trustees met in the town building at 8 P.M., all
members were present.
Minutes of last meeting were read and adopted.
Mr. Clots presented quit claim deeds for RobertzJeffries lot
purchased from Ida Jeffries estate for approval of the board.
Vogenberger moved that the President of the board of trustees
and the town clerk be authorized to sign a quit claim deed to
the lots formerly belonging to Ida B. Jeffries, so long as the
description of these properties does not encroach upon the
platted street lines, evidence of which will be a certificate
of the county surveyor to the effect that said description does
not encroach upon the width of First Ave. N~ W. at junction of
state high way 234- Brooks seconded, motion carried.
Vogenberger moved, Hash seconded, and motion was carried to
purchase 250 ft. of 2~. hose, 400 ft. of 1~, hose from Glaze-
brook.
John requested the board of trustees to open First street N.E.
through to the school house road. Dawson moved, Hash seconded,
to open, grade, drain, gravel and make passable above mentioned
road- motion carried.
