Mr. John W. Reeder and Mr. Merle J Kiine appeared ~ith a petition asking that the corporation of Carmel, Indiana, exten~ its boundary to include property purchased by then and being located adjacent to the south boundary of Carmel, Indiana. The full legal description as set forth in the petition are here-by affixem to the ~inutes. Mr. V. Thornberry appeared before the Boar~ ~;ith Ehree~?petitions asking that the corporation of Carmel, Inuiana, extend its boundary to include property owned by The Carmel Screw Products ~o. and being located adjacent to the present west boundary of Carmel, Indiana. The full legal description as oct forth in the prtition are affixted to the minutes. Hash movee, Compton second that the petitions of Reeder & Eiine Co. and Carmel Screw Products Co. be hohore~ and the corporation De extended to include these propertie~. Motion carried. Town Bldg. of ~he last Mr. G. Verpiank from ~radle Bros. Co. was present and presenteu a program for the repairing and surfaceing of First otreet North £aot~ between Range Line ~oad and FirsL ave. North ~ast; an~ Seventh St. North East , between Firot ave's and Second Ave.ts N~rth ~ast. it was de~ided by the Boara that Mr. ~erplank~s program would fill the needs for these two streets and work should start at once. Compton moved, ~offit second that the Town truck should be repaired by removeing dents, painting, and takeing what ever steps were needed to place the equipment in first class condition.
