Dear Mr. McNeilly:
At the meeting held on Monday, September 27, 2021 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Special Use Amendment request filed by you for the property located at 14598 Oak Ridge
Road:
APPROVED with Condition: PZ-2021-00144 SUA, Special Use Amendment for Institutional Special Use amendment
(expansion) granted with the Condition the Petitioner addresses all remaining TAC review comments.
Please be advised that per Articles 9.09 and 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Special Use
Amendment approval are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must
be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and
approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the use approval is September 27, 2024. (However, please
note that all required landscaping must be installed and in compliance within nine (9) months, or two (2) planting seasons,
of the BZA approval.)
