Re: BZA Docket No. PZ-2021-00153 V: Dransfield Fence Height Variance
Dear Mr. Dransfield:
At the meeting held on Monday, September 27, 2021 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing
Officer took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you
for the property located at 1051 Arrowwood Drive:
APPROVED with Condition: Docket No. PZ-2021-00153 V, Development Standards Variance
approval for: Max. 6’ rear yard fence height allowed, 8’height granted with the Condition the
Petitioner also provides documentation of Copperwood Homeowners Association (HOA) approval.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned
Development Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous
construction of the improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month
extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department. The
expiration date of the approval is September 27, 2024.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
