Home My WebLink About1981 Carmel/Clay TwpZONING AGREEMENT THI~ AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between the City of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana, hereinafter referred.to as City, and Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana, hereinafter referred to as Township, WITHNESSETH: WHEREAS, the City (formerly Town) and Township on the 2nd day of May, 1961, entered into an agreement by the terms of which the Town~hip was joined to the Town of Carmel for the purpose of zoning, and WHEREAS, it is'agreed that the City and Township have reveiwed the' anticipated e~penses' and income to be derived ~rom the operation of the Zoning Law of the City of Carmel for the year 1981, in sufficient time for the Township to include within i~s budget a proportionate pa~ of the anticipated zoning expense ~or the combined area of said. City and Township, and WHEREAS, p~rsuant to'said agreement the Township did include within its budget for the year 1981, the sum of Twenty-One' Thousand Dollars ($21,000.00) ~or zoning purposes, and NOW, THEREFORE,'~it is mutually agreed'by and between~ the City and TOwnship that: 1. The Township agrees to pay the sum of Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00) unto the City on~ or before July 15, 1981, and the additional sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,00!0.00) to'the City on or before December 31, '1981. .2~[~he' City agrees to accept and use said funds to supple- ment other funds available for the operation of the Plan Commission and the Building Commission's office of the City of~Carmgl. 3. The City agrees to furnish a ~omplete statement as to income and expenditures for zoning, quarterly by calendar quarter. the IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and the Township by and through their duly eiected, qualified and acting officials, have'hereunto caused their names to be affixed and their seals to be affixed as of this 1st day of January, 1981.
