HomeMy WebLinkAboutD-1422-99 Salary/Elected OfficialsOrdinance No. D1422-99 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA ESTABLISHING BI-WEEKLY SALARIES FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 200O WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana (the "City"), desires to set the salaries of certain of the City's elected officials pursuant to IC 36-4-7-2; and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana desires to establish the bi-weekly rate of pay for elected officials. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, that the bi-weekly salaries of elected officials shall be as follows commencing January 1, 2000 and continuing through December 31, 2003 or until a new ordinance is passed: Elected official UP TO MAXIMUM SALARY OF Mayor $2884.61 Bi-~ekly Clerk-Treasurer Judge Common Council $2296. O0 Bi-~ekly $2500.
