Home My WebLink AboutD-1331-97 Add Approp/CCCOrdinance No. D-1331-97 ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA PROVIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, it is imperative that the Carmel-Clay Communications Center maintain a back-up power supply to operate its systems in the event that land power is cut off; and WHEREAS, the current back-up generator has become somewhat unreliable due to its age and state of repair; and WHEREAS, the 1997 Annual Budget for the City did not include monies to cover the expenses involved with purchase of a new generator; and WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has determined that the deduction from the City's General Fund, as set forth below, will leave the City's General Fund a sufficient remaining cash balance.
