HomeMy WebLinkAboutD-1278-97 Add Approp/CPD Ordinance No. D- 1278-97 ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA PROVIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND WHEREAS, the City of Carreel (the "City"), in order to more efficiently meet the needs of the community, must occasionally utilize the services of professionals; and WHEREAS, the City of Carreel Police Department is currently undertaking a renovation project at the Carmel Police Department Headquarters located at Three Civic Square, Camel, Indiana (the "Project"); and WHEREAS, the 1997 Annual Budget for the City did not include monies to cover the expenses involved with the Project; and WHEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer has determined that the deduction from the City' s Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund, as set forth below, will leave the City' s Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund a sufficient remaining cash balance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Cannel, Indiana, that for the expenses of the taxing unit the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated out of the 1997 Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund and for the purposes specified, subject to the laws governing the same as follows: CUMULATIVE CAPITAL DEVE OP~CI~N~ FUND L LINE ITEM 6 10-0 1- POLICE DEPARTMENT RENOVATION PROJECT - $130,000.00 PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana this Jro/day of 299~,/-, ,1997, by a vote of 5 ayes an nays.  ouncil \' :'es Guy ' / Robert Battreall Ronald E.
