Salary OrdOrdinance D- 1177 An ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE D-677 ESTABLISHING BI-WEEKLY SALARIES FOR ELECTED CITY OFFICIALS WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, desires to set the salaries of certain elected officials members of said City of Carmel, Indiana; and, WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, desires to establish the bi-weekly rate of pay for elected officials. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, that the bi-weekly salaries of elected officials shall be as follows commencing January 1, 1996 and continuing through until December 31, 1999, or until a new ordinance is passed: 1996 1997 1998 1999 Mayor ~ 2,266.85 2,266.85 2,266.85 2,266.85 Clerk-Treasurer 1,892.31 1,953.85 2,015,38 2,076.92 Judge 1,986.06 2,000.96 2,015.87 2,030.77 Council 118.27 121.82 121.82 121.82 In addition to the base received by the Council members, each shall receive the sum of 950.00 for each regular meeting and special meeting of the Carmel City Council that they may attend. This provision shall also apply to the Council members when the council meets as a committee of the whole to consider the civil budget as provided for in the Carmel City Code, Chapter 3, Article 1, Division II, Section 3-17. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. PASSED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, THIS 16th DAY OF OCTOBER, 1995.
