Verifywater pressure to ensure zones will receive adequate pressure for all heads and rotors.2.It is the responsibility of the irrigation contractor to be familiar with all grades difference,locations of walls, structures and utilities and make the necessary adjustments toaccommodate the irrigation system as designed.3.The irrigation contractor shall verify water pressures prior to design and construction.Report differences between requirements and actual readings to the Owner's authorizedrepresentative. A booster pump may be necessary if the required pressure is notavailable. Additional costs shall be submitted to the Owner as a change order. Verifyexact point of connection location in the field with the Owner's representative. The flowdemand for individual mainlines shall not exceed the following guidelines.1.25" Class160=18-28gpm4.The Owner shall provide 120V-AC power source at the controller location. The irrigationcontractor shall make the final connection from the electrical source to the controller.5.A rain sensor shall be installed in the vicinity of the controller. Coordinate mountinglocation with the Owner.6.Install all backflow prevention devices and all piping between the point of connectionand the backflow preventer as per local codes.7.Final location of the backflow preventer and the automatic controller shall be approvedby the Owner's representative per local codes.8.A quick coupling valve shall be located at the irrigation water supply point of connectionto provide for a point of injection of compressed air to purge the system of retainedwater for winterization.9.Pipe size shall conform to those shown on drawings. No substitutions of smaller pipesizes shall be permitted, but substitutions for larger sizes may be approved. Minimumpipe shall be 1".10.All pipe and communication wire under hard surfaces shall be placed in separatesleeving. All wire shall run, whenever possible with the mainline.11.All lateral zones shall be connected to the mainline with PVC pipe and sized as follows:12.1" Class 200=0-17gpm13.All sprinkler heads shall be set perpendicular and flush to finish grade and with aclearance of 2" (min.) from the edge of any hardscape unless otherwise specified.14.Check valves shall be installed on all irrigation heads in areas where finish gradeexceeds 4:1, where post valve shutoff draining of the irrigation head occurs or asdirected by the Owner's representative.15.All sprinkler heads and valves shall be flushed and adjusted for optimum coverage withminimum over spray on hardscapes or buildings.16.Provide pressure compensating screens and/or 1nozzles to reduce or eliminate overspray onto walks, streets, or other areas directed by the Owner's authorizedrepresentative.17.All irrigation equipment shall be installed as per manufacturer's recommendations andspecifications.18.Refer to the specifications for additional detailed information.CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE DETAILED DESIGN DRAWINGS SHOWING ALLEQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR AN COMPLETE UNDERGROUND IRRIGATIONSYSTEM, INCLUDING LATERAL LINES, SPRAY HEADS FOR LAWN ANDSHRUB BED IRRIGATION, BACK FLOW PREVENTER
