HomeMy WebLinkAboutD-1019 Bi-Weekly SalariesORDINANCE D-1019 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE D-677 ESTABLISHING BI-WEEKLY SALARIES FOR ELECTED CITY OFFICIALS WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, receives a management fee from the utilities, and; WHEREAS, the current ordinance fixing the salaries of elected officials calls for the salaries of the Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer and City Council members shall be paid 1/3 from tax revenue, 1/3 from water utility and 1/3 from sewer utility, and; WHEREAS, the current salaries of elected officials are paid in total by tax revenue with a management fee reimbursement by the utilities, and; WHEREAS, the Common Council desires to amend Ordinance D-677 to reflect this change. - NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: BE IT ORDAINED that the salaries of the Mayor, Clerk-Treasurer and City Council members shall be paid entirely with tax revenue.
