AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY CODE OF
CARMEL, INDIANA, CHAPTER 8, SECTION 8-121(10)
ESTABLISHING AN AUTOMATIC STOP INTERSECTION
AT CARMEL DRIVE AND PENNSYLVANIA STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel has adopted a Code of Ordinances
which constitute the City Code of Carmel, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, said Code of Ordinances provides for traffic control
and the establishment of stop intersections at Chapter 8; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of the
City of Carmel, Indiana, that City Ordinance Section 8, vehicular
traffic stop at the intersection of Carmel Drive and Pennsylvania
Street, Carmel, Indiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, THAT Carmel City Ordinance, as amended,
Chapter 8, Section 8-121(10) is hereby amended to establish an
automatic vehicular traffic stop at the intersection of Carmel
Drive and Pennsylvania Street in Carmel, Indiana.
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED that the Carmel Street Department shall
post all necessary signage as required by this Ordinance,
forthwith.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage. Passed by the Common Council of the City of
