AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT IT IS NOW NECESSARY TO
APPROPRIATE MORE MONEY THAN WAS APPROPRIATED IN THE ACTUAL BUDGET;
NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL,
HAMILTON COUNTY, INDIANA, THAT FOR THE EXPENSES OF THE TAXING UNIT
THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL SUM OF MONEY IS HEREBY APPROPRIATED OUT OF
THE FUND NAMED AND FOR THE PUPOSES SPECIFIED, SUBJECT TO THE LAWS
GOVERNING THE SAME:

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATION
CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the City of Carmel,
Indiana, Hamilton County that the proper legal officers of the City
of Carmel at their regular meeting place at Carmel City Hall, One
Civic Square, Council Chambers at 7:00 o'clock P.M. on the 17th Day
of August, 1992, will consider the following additional
appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year.
LAND ACQUISITION FUND #500 Line Item #694
Purchase of land for Carey Road Park
$100,000
Taxpayers appearing at the meeting all have a right to be heard.
The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to
the State Board of Tax Commissioners. The Board will make a
written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the
appropriation made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a
certified copy of the action taken.
