Carmel Drive Carmel, IN 46032 (317) 844-4693 Re -Zone Application Narrative Woodland Country Club, Inc. seeks to re -zone two lots immediately North and adjacent to the current Clubhouse/Pro Shop facility from R-I to P-1. Woodland Country Club, Inc. and Golf Course are currently zoned P-1 and used for recreational purposes. Woodland has owned Lot Number 23 since 1975 and Lot Number 24 since 2006. Both Lots are presently vacant and the Club intends to use the two Lots for Club purposes. LAI -I. The Lots are located immediately adjacent to existing P-1 zoned Woodland Country Club and will be related to the existing Land Use of a golf course. Adjacent Land Uses are residential and have been developed residential since the 1950's. The two Lots are wooded and buffered with an existing tree line. PARKS AND RECREATION Purpose • To identify conservation areas, and to establish open space areas for private and public parks and recreation. Geographic Location • Distributed throughout Carmel, especially in proximity to high and medium density residential areas; and adjacent to the Monon Greenway, White River, and other greenways. Land Uses Parks, pocket parks, recreation, linear trails, greenways, golf courses, natural areas, and the like. Intensity/Density • Not applicable.
