Ordinance Amending Section 41.21 of the
Carmel City Code, Sub-Section A
-WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Carmel,
Indiana, to extend the provisions of Section 41.21 of the Carmel
City Code, North to additional areas as hereinafter set out. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, as follows:
That Section A of 41.21 as to the following sub-sections 1
and 2 shall be hereby amended to read as follows:
1. Hawthorn Drive from East Main Street (State Road 234) to
the municipal limits of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
2. Ironwood Drive from Hawthorn Drive to the municipal
limits of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that said 41.21 sub-section A is here-
by amended to include the following:
6. Dayton Drive
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that nothing in this ordinance shall
be deemed to conflict with 41.21 except to specifically set out
herein and that 41.21 shall not be altered, modified or amended
except as specifically set out herein.
That this ordinance shall be in full force effect upon passage

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
CARMEL CITY CODE 41.18

BE IT ORDAINED that the Carmel City Code 4t~a) is hereby
amended to read as ~llows:
41.18 NO PARKING ZONE. (a) No Parking zones are hereby created
and established on both sides of the following streets and thor-
oughfares of the City of Carmel, Indiana:
(a) Sylvan Lane
(b) Audubon Drive for a d~stance of 400 feet from the inter'
section of Audubon Drive and 2nd Street N.E.
BE IT ORDAINED that only as to the provisions of this ordin-
ance that the prohibitions hereunder and penalties for such
prohibitions and violations may be waived by the Carmel Police
Department upon good cause shown by an adversely affected pa~z~y
party who resides on the above named streets and thoroughfares
upon written or oral communication by the adversely affected part]
to the Carmel Police Department, but that such good cause must be
shown prior to occurrence in question which would otherwise be a

violation.
BE IT ORDAINED that nothing in this Ordinance shall be deeme
to conflict with provisions of said City Code 41.18 except as
specifically set out herewith and amended hereby.
That this Ordinance is in full force and effect from and
after the date of passage for the year 1980.
