FOR ELEOT~ CITY 0FFICIA~S FOR THEIR TEEMB OF O~FICE
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indi~, on or about
the 19th d~y of February, 1979, passed an ordinance for the elected
officials of the City of Cammel, said Ordinance being numbered D-197.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAI~YED that said Ordinance D-197 sh~!l be
amended to read as fellows:
The aunu~l salaries of the following elected officials for the City of
Carmel for their terms of office beginning on the 1st d~y of January,
1981 sh~ll be as follows: M~yor - $23,936.00; Clerk-Treasurer -
$20,416.00; Judge of the City Court - $8,200.00; Members of the
Commo~ Council - $1,650.00.
BE IT F~YRTHER 0P~ that $8,704.00 of the M~yor's salary sh~ll be
from tax revenue and that the rem~ini~ amount is to be paid one-half
by the Water Utility aud oneLh~lf by the Sewer Utility; that $7,424.00
of the Clerk-Treasurer's salary sh~ll be paid from tax revenue and that
the ren~ining amount is to be paid one-h~lf from the Water Utility
and one-h~lf from the Sewer Utility; that all of the salary of the
Judge of the City Court shall be paid from'tax revenue; and that
$750.00 of the salamy of each member of the Common Counoil sh~ll be p~id
from tax revenue and the remainder sh~ll be paid one-h~lf from Water
Utility and One-h~lf from Sewer Utility.
This Ordinance sh~ll be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
