D-1511-01 AN ORDNANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA PROVIDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL SEWER, CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AND THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET OPERATING BALANCES WHEREAS, the Indiana State Tax Commissioners does not take into account a prior years appropriated but unspent funds when reviewing a unit' s annual budget appropriation with regards to the Cumulative Capital Improvement and Sewer Funds; and WHEREAS, the State Tax Commissioners reduced the City of Carmel's 2001 Budgets in the Cumulative Capital Improvement and Cumulative Capital Sewer Funds; and WHEREAS, there was an advertising error for the Local Road and Street Fund budget; and WHEREAS, there was an encumbrance that did not get rolled into the 2001 budget from the Cumulative Capital Sewer Fund; and WHEREAS, the City of Carmel spent less that the amount budgeted and appropriated in 2000; and WHEREAS, the City of Carmel has excess funds available in the operating balances and wishes to appropriate sufficient funds to restore the 2001 budgets to the level previously approved by the City Council and the Mayor; WHEREAS, said additional appropriation is necessary to provide for the daily operations of the City; and NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, the following additional appropriations: Local Road & Street Fund $128.000 Line item 401 Engineering Fees $22,000 Line item 509 Other Contracted Services $106,000 Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund $95.542 Line item 586 Park Joinder Payment $65,542 Line item 622 Sidewalk Improvements $30,000 Cumulative Cavital Sewer Fund $68,486 Line item 623 Drainage Improvements $68,486 ASSED by the Colon Council of the City of C el, Indiana, thl t '% of 2001, by a vote of v( ayes and O nays. ~ Sponsor: Wayne Wilson es.~g~O_fficer = _ ~' ~onald E.
