AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE D-566, SALARY ORDINANCE FOR
1989 SALARIES
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, has set the
salaries for employees of the City of Carmel other than the Police and
Fire Departments, to be paid during the year 1989.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Carmel, to wit:
That the salaries for employees of the City of Carmel, other than Police
and Fire Departments, to be oaid during the year

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that an employee must have been in the full
employ of the City of Carmel a minimum of six months during a year
to receive a year's credit on longevity renumeration which shall
be added to their above salaries on an individual basis at a rate
of $150.00 per year up to twenty years.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the city employees of the Department of
Community Development shall be entitled to receive the sum of $35.00
per meeting, as additional compensation for attending each regularly
scheduled meeting of the Plan Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals,
or their respective committees. Further, such additional compensation
shall be paid from the budget of the Plan Commission and Board of
Zoning Appeals.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that compensation for overtime worked shall
be paid to employees according to the policies of the City of
Carmel and shall be in addition to amounts herein specified.
