HomeMy WebLinkAboutD-444 Salaries/CPD ORDINANEE D- ALAR, O INANC POR 1986 SALARIES ~OR CAPS'{~L FOLICE DEFAR~EN~ WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, desires to set the salaries for employees of the Carmel Police Department to be paid during the year 1986. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that an employee must have been in the full employ of the City of Carmel a minimum of six months during a year to receive a year's credit on longevity remuneration which shall be added to their above salaries on an individual basis at a rate of $150.00 per year up to twenty years. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, Police Officers exempted from Social Security shall receive 7.15% of their salaries as additional compensation which shall be deferred. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, First Class Patrolman's salary as stated in this ordinance shall be used as the base salary for purposes of pension calculation. Dated this ~ day of ~ , 1985.
