AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL,
INDIANA,
REVITALIZATION ENHANCEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-7-13 (the

The proposed CRED Area is described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the Clay Terrace retail area (located at 146th & U831 ), then
proceeding eastward, across the US31 right of way to the eastern right of way line of US31;
Then proceeding southward along the eastern right of way line of US31 to the point of
intersection with the centedine of Rangeline Road;
Then proceeding southward along the centedine of Rangeline Road, and including a strip of land
500 feet on either side of the centerline of Rangeline Road, to the point of intersection with the
north right of way line of 136th Street (a.k.a. Smokey Row road);
Then proceeding eastward along the north right of way line of 136th Street to the point of
intersection with the east right of way line of 1st Avenue N E;
Then proceeding southward along the east right of way line of 1 st Avenue NE to the point of
intersection with the north right of way of 1st Street NE;
Then proceeding eastward along the north right of way of 1st Street NE to the point of intersection
with the east right of way line of 4th Avenue NE;

Then proceeding northeastward along the northern right of way line of US31 to the point of
intersection with the southern boundary of the Clay Terrace retail area;
Then following the southern, western and northern boundaries of the Clay Terrace retail area to
the point of beginning.
