D-1678-04 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ADDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE 7, SECTION 8-71 TO ~ WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana, has several running through it; and routes WHEREAS, these roadways pass through residential areas as they pass City; and WHEREAS, many tracks use compression release engine brakes and discontent noises while traveling through the City; and loud, annoying WHEREAS, the use of compression substantially bothers and armoys persons and preventing these persons from enjoying their NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT Indiana, as follows: similar braking systems .thereby causing a nuisance ~ose. of the City of Carmel, Section 1. This Section supplements and does not limit any other remedy or action available in law/dr in equity regarding the subject matter hereof. Section 6. All prior City ordinances or parts thereof that are inconsistent with any provision of this Ordinance are hereby repealed as of the effective date of this Ordinance.
