AN ORDINANCE FIXING SALARIES FOR ELECTED CITY OFFICIALS FOR THEIR
TERMS OF OFFICE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of carmel,
to-wit:
That the salaries of the following elected officials for the
City of Carmel for their terms of office beginning on the let day
of January, 1980 shall be as follows: Mayor - $21~760.00; Clerk-
Treasurer $18,~6G.00; Judge of the City Court- $8,200.'00; Mem-
bers of the common council - $1,500.00.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that $8,704.00 of the Mayor's salary
shall be from tax revenue and that. the remaining amount is to be
paid one-half by the Water utility and one-half by the Sewer Uti-
lity; that $7,424.00 of the clerk-Treasurer's salary shall be paid
from tax revenUe and that the remaining amount is to be paid one-
half from the Water utility and one-half from the Sewer utility;
that all of the salary of the Judge of the City court shall be paid
from tax revenue; and that $750.00 of the salary of each member
of the common Council shall be paid from tax revenue and the remain-
der shall be paid one-half from water Utility and one-half from Sew-
er utility.
ThiB ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and af-
ter,its passage' ~ ~_~~~~
