AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. D-71 WHICH ORDINANCE IS ENTITLED
"ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING LOCATIONS OF STOP AND YIELD SIGNS AT
INTERSECTIONS WITHIN THE TOWN OF CARMEL, INDIANA".
WHEREAS, the Carmel Town Board of Trustees of the Town of
Carmel, Indiana adopted Ordinance No. D-71 on the 23rd day of July,
1974, and which ordinance established the locations of stop and yield
signs and provided penalties for the violation thereof, and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana
desires to amend the said Ordinance No. D-71.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Carmel, to-wit:
That the following additional streets and roads shall be
designated as streets having Stop Signs as follows:

Stop Westbound
Stop Eastbound
Stop Northbound
Stop Southbound
Stop Westbound

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that all provisions Of Ordinance No.
D-71 not in conflict with this amendment shall remain in full force
and effect.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication for two consecutive weeks pursuant
to State Statute.
