AND RECREATION BOARD.

WHEREAS, the City of Carmel is the owner of 7.79 acres
of vacant land located behind the Carmel Hill Apartments sit-
uated on the north side of West Main Street in the City of
Carmel and
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel and the Hamilton County Park
and Recreation Board have agreed that said Board would provide
park facilities on said land upon its being conveyed to said
Board,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of Carmel, to-wit:
That the Common Council herewith approves the conveyance
to the Hamilton County Park and Recreation Board of unimprov-
ed real estate consisting of 7.79 acres located behind the
Carmel Hill Apartments on the north side of West Main Street

Section 25, Township 18 North, Range 3 East in Hamil-
ton County, Indiana, being more particularly describ-
ed as follows:
From the Southeast corner of said Half Quarter Sec-
tion, run North 90 degrees West (assumed bearing),
upon and along %he South line thereof, 912.5 feet;
thence North 0 degrees, 53 minutes East and paral-
lel to the East line of said half quarter Section,
1,345.0 feet to THE PLACE OF BEGINNING OF THIS DE-
SCRIPTION; thence continuing North 0 degrees, 53
minutes East, 53.9 feet; thence North 15 degrees,
53 minutes East, 433.38 feet; thence South 88 de-
grees, 50 minutes, 29 seconds East, 640.23 feet;
thence South 0 degrees, 53 minutes West, and paral-
lel to the East line of said half quarter Section,
370.43 feet; thence South 40 degrees, 53 minutes
West, 158.86 feet; thence North 90 degrees West and
parallel to the South line of said half quarter Sec-
tion, 474.33 feet; thence North 0 degrees, 53 min-
utes East, 32.71 feet; thence North 90 degrees West
and parallel to the South line of said half quarter
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.

No Indiana Gross Income Tax is due or payable on this gift
transfer to the Hamilton County Park and Recreation Board.
