AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCES $~D-137 AND #D-138.
BE IT 0RDAINEDby the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indian~,
to-wit:
1. That Ordinance ~D-137 entitled "An Ordinance Budgeting
Expendltu~es from the City Water Utility" is herewith
amended to reflect the following, to-wit:
a.~ Add to Water Depreciation~und:
Acbt #392~ Transportation Equipment'~ $1;000~00
2.~ That Ordinances#D-138 entitled "An 0rdin~nce Budgeting
Expenditures from the City Sewage Utility" is herewith
amended to r~flect the following, to-wit:
a. Add to Sewage~h~nd:
Acct #324.~ - Transportation Equipment, $1,000.00
That this Ordinance is to be in full force and effect from ~nd after

Subject: Transfers and appropriation of Funds
1. The Board of Public Works is requesting the following
appropriations to the Utility Budgets. -~- ~
(a) Water Dept. Acct No. 392 $.1000'00~.~~
(b) Sewer Dept Acct. No. 324.4 $1000.00~v~
The above funds along with a similar amount from the
Street Department will be used to purchase a 14 HP Garden
Tractor equipped with a 38 inch mower and a 42 inch Snow-
Blower, and a small trailer for moving the tractor to
different locations.
2. Transfer funds in the MVH Budget.
Transfer from account 1-12 Salaries, $1500.00, to Account
5-52 Rents. These funds will be'used to enter into a
one year lease with Hamilton County Farm Bureau for a
metal storage building to be used to store salt and some
equipment. The proposed rent is-expected to be $150.00/mo
and the $1S00.00 plus $300.00 already in Rents will be
sufficient to pay rent for one year, (till about Sept. 1979).
