D-71 WHICH ORDINANCE IS entitled "ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING LOCATIONS OF STOP AND YIELD SIGNS AT INTERSECTIONS WITHIN THE TOWN OF CARMEL, INDIANA". WHEREAS, the Carmel Town Board of Trustees of the Town of Carmel, Indiana adopted Ordinance No. D-71 on the 23rd day of July, 1974, and which Ordinance established the locations of stop.and yield signs and provided penalties for the violation thereof, and WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana desires to amend the said Ordinance No. D-71. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, to-wit: That the following additional streets and roads shall be designated as streets having Stop Signs as follows: TYPE OF DIRECTION AT INTERSECTION SIGN OF TRAVEL STREET OF Stop Northbound Lakeshore Dr. E. Brunswick Dr. Stop Southbound Lakeshore Dr. E. Brunswick Dr. Stop Northbound Lakeshore Dr. E. Brian Place Stop Southbound Lakeshore Dr. E. Brian Place BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that all provisions of Ordinance No. D-71 not in conflict with this amendment shall remain in full force and effect. I~ Clerk-T~easurer To Mayor Pickett and City Council, City of Carmel We the undersigned request that stop signs be installed at two intersections along Lakeshore Dr. E. between 106th Street and ll6th Street because of the increasing problem of speeding on this busy thoroughfare in a residential area. We are extremely concerned for the safety of our children when a) walking and riding bicycles to and from Woodbrook School b) loading and unloading of school buses c) walking and riding bicycles to enjoy swimming, tennis boating, ice skating, and clubhouse facilities in the Woodlands and Woodland Springs subdivisions To Mayor Pickett and City Council, City of Carmel We the undersigned request that stop signs be installed at two intersections along Lakeshore Drive East between 106th Street and ll6th Street because of the increasing problem of speeding on this busy thoroughfare in a residential area.
