ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. D-99 ENTITLED "SALARY ORDINANCE
FOR 1977 SALARIES FOR THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS" AND
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. DL/~ ENTITLED "SALARY ORDINANCE FOR
1978 SALARIES FOR THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS"
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana
desires to add a humane officer and a sixth dispatcher to the
employees of the Police Department and which positions will be
entirely funded by federal money,
NOW THEREFORE, BE
City of Carmel, to-wit:
That Ordinance No.
IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
D-99 entitled "Salary Ordinance For
1977 Salaries For The Police And Fire Departments" is herewith
Amended to reflect the addition to the Police Department of a
humane officer to be paid entirely from federal funds at the rate
of $8,000.00 per year, and a sixth dispatcher to be paid entirely
from federal funds at the rate of $7,300.00 per year.
That Ordinance No. ~entitled "Salary Ordinance For
1978 Salaries For The Police And Fire Departments" is herewith
amended to reflect the continuance for the Police Department of a
humane officer to be paid entirely from federal funds at the rate
of $8,300.00 per year and for the continuance of a sixth
dispatcher for the Police Department to be paid entirely from
federal funds at the rate of $8,300.00 per year.
