kN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE, "STATE OF INDIANA ONE AND
TWO-FAMILY D%~LLING CODE" AS THE BUILDING CODE FOR ONE AND
TwO-F~4ILY DWELLINGS WITHIN THE TOWN OF CARMEL.
Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Carmel,
Indiana:
Section 1.
-----------~ There is hereby adopted by the Town of Carmel,
Indiana, for the purpose of regulating the fabrication,
alteration, repair,
erection, co~nstruction, enlargementt two-family dwellings, in
location aha use of detached one and
the jurisdiction of the Town of Carmel, a certain STATE OF
INDIANA ONE AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLING CODE, and the whole
thereof, including amendments thereto~ whether enacted before
or after the date of this ordinance, and mncludln~ t but not
limited to, the provisions for the issuance of permits and
the penalties for the violation thereof, as set forth therein,
copies of which Code are now on file in the office of the
Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Carmel~ Indiana.
said Code is hereby adopted and incorporated as
fully as if set out at length herein, the provisions thereof
which shall be controlling within the limits of the Town of
Carmel, Ha/ailton County ~ Indiana.
Section
Ail ordinances and partS of ordinances in conflict
with the aforesaid one and two-family dwelling building code
are herewith repealed.
Section 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
