AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING
ORDINANCE NO. Z-160, AS AMENDED
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. Z-160, AS
AMENDED, OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, AND CLAY TOWNSHIP, HAMILTON
COUNTY, INDIANA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA,
THAT ORDINANCE NO. Z-160, AS AMENDED, IS HEREBY AMENDED AS
FOLLOWS:
That the zone map made a part of Zoning Ordinance Z-160, as amended, is amended to
reclassify the following described real estate from the S-1 District Classification to the B-3
District Classification:
Part of the west half of Section 6, Township 17 North, Range 3 East in Hamilton County,
Indiana, described as follows:
Beginning at a 5/8" rebar with cap marked "SCHNEIDER ENG
FIRM #0001" at the noaheast comer of the southeast quarter of Section 01,
Township 17 Noah, Range 02 East in Boone County, Indiana; thence Noah
00 degrees 37 minutes 02 seconds West along the east line of the noaheast
quarter of Section 01 a distance of 55.03 feet; thence Noah 73 degrees 44
minutes 45 seconds East perpendicular to the centerline of US Highway 421
a distance of 13 1.23 feet; thence Noah 28 degrees 44 minutes 45 seconds
East 35.36 feet;; thence Noah 73 degrees 44 minutes 45 seconds East
perpendicular to the centerline of US Highway 421 a distance of 50.00 feet
to said centerline; thence South 16 degrees 15 minutes 15 seconds East
along said centerline 786.72 feet to the easterly extension of a fence line as it
existed on March 29, 1995; thence South 85 degrees 01 minutes 49 seconds
West along said fence line 406.26 feet to the east line of the southeast
quarter of Section 01; thence Noah 00 degrees 30 minutes 47 seconds West
along said east line 653.75 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing
5.134 acres more or less.
The above-described real estate is located at the southwest intersection of Michigan Road
(US 421 ) and Monroe Park Way, having 786.72 feet of frontage on Michigan Road.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana this
