CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
CARMEL, INDIANA, ORDINANCE NUMBER Z-160, AS AMENDED, PASSED BY
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ON JANUARY 21,
1980, UNDER THE AUTHORITY ACTS 1979, PUBLIC LAW 178, SECTION 1 ET
SEQ., (I.C. 36-7-4-101, et seq.) AND ALL ACTS AMENDATORY OR
SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL,
INDIANA, THAT ORDINANCE NUMBER Z-160 AS AMENDED, IS HEREBY
AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
That the zone map accompanying and made a part of Zoning
Ordinance Z-160, Sections 4.1 - 4.3, as amended, and the zoning
classifications of Zoning ordinance No. Z-160 are amended to
reclassify and rezone the following described property from an S-
2 zoning classification to a B-5 zoning classification within the
zoning districts and on the official zoning map:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Two (2),
Township Seventeen (17) North, Range Three (3), East,
in Hamilton County, Indiana, more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point in the South line of said South-
west Quarter, a distance of twelve hundred eighty-one
and one tenth (1281.1) feet East of the Southwest
corner of said Quarter Section; running thence North
parallel to the west line of said Southwest Quarter
Section a distance of two hundred thirty-six (236) feet
to a point; thence East and parallel to the south line
of said Quarter Section a distance of two hundred (200)
feet to a point; thence South and parallel to the west
line of said Quarter Section a distance of two hundred
thirty-six (236) feet to a point in the south line of
said Quarter Section; thence West along and upon said
south line two hundred (200) feet to the place of
beginning ยท
and
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 17
North, Range 3 East, in Hamilton County, Indiana, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning 1481.10 feet East of the Southwest corner of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 17 North,
Ranqe 3 East, and on the South line thereof; thence
SECTION II
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage. Passed. by the Com~9.n C~ncil of the City of
