Z-233 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TFE ZONING ORDINANCE OF T~F CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ORDINANCE NO. Z-'160, AS AMENDED, PASSED ~Y COMMON COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ON JANUARY 21, 1980, UNDER AUTHORITY OF ACTS OF 1979, PUBLIC LAW 178, SECTION 1, et seq., (I.C~ 18-7-4-101 et seq.) AND ALL ACTS AMENDATORY OR SUPPLEMENTARY TFERETO. BE IT ORDAINED BY T~E CITY COUNCIL OF TFE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, T~AT ORDINANCE NO. Z-160, AS AMENDED, IS ~EREBY AMENDED AS F©LLOWS: Section I: That the zone map accompanying and made a part of Zoning Ordinance Z-160, Sections 4.1-4.3, as amended, and the zoning classifications of zoning Ordinance No. Z-160 are amended to reclassify and re-zone the following described property from an S-2 zoning classification to a B-6 zoning classification within the zoning districts and on the official zoning map: Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 17 North, Range 3 East, in Hamilton County, Indiana, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Quarter Section; thence South 00028'55'' East along the East line of said Quarter Section 483.70 feet to the Northeast corner of "College Park," the Dlat of which is recorded in Deed Record 113, pages 2-3, in the office of the Recorder of ~amilton County, Indiana; thence continuing South 00028'55'' East along the East line of said Quarter Section 1162.45 feet; thence South 88o52'50" West 43.00 feet to the intersection of the southerly right-of-way of Interstate 465 and the West right-of-way line of College Avenue and being the point of beginning of this description; thence South 00028'55'' East along the West right-of-way line of College Avenue 977.00 feet to the intersection of said right-of-way line with the North right-of-way line of 96th Street; thence South 88°50'14" West along the North right-of-way of 96th Street a distance of 2609.35 feet to the East right-of-way of Pennsylvania Street; thence North 00024'32'' West along said East right-of-way a distance of 906.25 feet to the South limited access right-of-way of Interstate 465; thence North 74022'42'' East along said right-of-way a distance of 374.60 feet~ thence North 84°55'43'' East along said right-of-way a distance of 91.36 feet; thence North 88°50'14" East along said right-of-way $ distance of 1036.00 feet; thence South 00028'55'' East along said right-of-way a distance of 29.00 feet; thence North 88o50'14'' East along said right-of-way a distance of 1119.50 feet to the West right-of-way of College Avenue to the point of beginning. EXCEPT: Lot 3 in Block "D" in college Park Addition ss per plat thereof recorded in Deed Record 113, page 2 and 3 in the office of the Recorder of Familton County, Indiana. EXCEPT: Lot 3 in Block "J" in College Park Addition as per plat thereof recorded in Deed Record 113, page 2 and 3 in the office of the Recorder of Hamilton County, Indiana. EXCEPT: Lot 22 in Block "L" in College Park Addition ss per plat thereof recorded in Deed Record 113, page 2 and 3 in the Office of the Recorder of Familton County, Indiana. EXCEPT: Lots 6 and 22 in Block "R" in College Park Addition as per plat thereof recorded in Deed Record 113, page 2 and 3 in the Office of the Recorder of Familton County, Indiana. EXCEPT: Lots 15 and 16 in Block "S" in College Park Addition as per plat thereof recorded in Deed Record 113, page 2 and 3 in the Office of the Recorder of }~amilton County, Indiana. EXCEPT: Lot 8 in Block "Y" in College Park Addition as per plat thereof recorded in Deed Record 113, page 2 and 3 in the Office of the Recorder of Familton County, Indiana. The above parcel containing after said exceptions 57.885 acres, more or less, subject however to all easements and/or right-of-ways of legal record. -2- Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. Passed by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, on this 20th day of June, 1988.
