WHEREAS, the following described real estate
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana,
received a recommendation from the Carmel Plan Commission
following

designated as R-1 in Ordinance Z-160 as amended January 21, 1980,
and subsequent thereto;
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana, has authority pursuant
to I.C. 16-7-4-101, et. seq. to amend Ordinance Z-160.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Carmel, Indiana, that so much of the following described
real estate in Hamilton County,
classified as Zone I-1 pursuant
and hereby is classifed as Zone
Sections 4.1 - 4.3, inclusive, of
amended to classify the following
M-3.
Indiana, as is not currently
to Ordinance Z-160, as amended, be
M-3 and the map accompanying
Ordinance Z-160 is hereby
described real estate as Zone
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter and
part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 36, Township 18 North, Range 3 East in Hamilton
County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows:
Begin at a point 2703.32 feet west of the southeast corner of
Section 36, Township 18 North, Range 3 East, run thence west
235.8 feet; thence north 612.5 feet, thence east 431.3 feet
to the west line of right of way of railroad, thence south 21
degrees west 300 feet, thence south 13 degrees west 362.0
feet to the place of beginning, in Clay Township, Hamilton
County, Indiana.

Part of the Southeast Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of
section 36, Township 18 North, Range 3 East, Hamilton County,
Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said Southwest
Quarter section being South 89 degrees 21 minutes 50 seconds
West 283.87 feet from the Southeast corner thereof, said
point being the Southwest corner of a deed recorded in Deed
Record 261, page 221, in the Office of the Recorder of
Hamilton County, Indiana; thence South 89 degrees 21 minutes
50 seconds West along said south line, 380.08 feet measure
(347.36 feet deed) to the Southwest corner of the East Half
of the East Half of said southwest quarter section; thence
North 0 degrees 14 minutes 51 seconds West along the west
line of said half-half quarter section, 1245.75 feet; thence
North 89 degres 21 minutes 50 seconds East, parallel with
said south line, 1341.61 feet measured (1348.75 feet deed) to
the Westerly right of way line of the Monon Division of the
Louisville and Nashville Railroad; thence Southwesterly along
said right of way line 815.55 feet; thence South 89 degrees
21 minutes 50 seconds West, parallel with the south line of
said southwest quarter section, 443.83 feet; thence South 0
degrees 14 minutes 51 seconds East 627 feet (deed and
measured) to the point of beginning and containing 20.32
acres, more or less.
Also all right of way for 116th Street across the entire
South side of the above-described real estate.
The Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, declares
that this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon and
after its passage.
