Whereas, the Carmel Town Plan Commission has recommended that Zoning Ordi-
nance No. Z-l for the town of Carmel be amended, all in accordance with
Chapter 174 of the Acts of 1947, as amended, of the General Assembly of
the State. of Indiana and,
\~hereas, said Carmel Town Plan Commission has duly held public hearings
on said proposed amendments after notice and publication of said hearings
according to law made and provided, and

Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Carmel, Indiana has duly
voted to accept said recommendation made by the Carmel TOvffi Plan Commission:
Now be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of

B. The ten (10') foot alley 'bounded on the North by the South
lines of Lots one (1) and two (2) in said Addition and bounded
on the South by the North line of Lot three (3) in said Addi-

C. The ten (10) foot alley bounded on the North by the South
line of Lot four (4) in said Addition and bounded on the South
by the North line of Lot five (5) in said Addition, and being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot four (4) thence
East along the South line of said Lot four (4) a distance of
165 feet to the Southeast corner of. said Lot four (4), thence
South a distance of t:.en. (10') feet to the Northeast corner of
said Lot five (5), thence West along the Northline of said Lot
. five (5) to the Northwest corner of said Lot five (5), thence
North a distance of (10') ten feet to the Southeast corner of
said Lot four (4), being the point of beginning.
D. That portion of South Street as shown in the recorded copy
of said Plat (now known and designated as S.E. 6th Street) more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot six(6) in said Addi-
tion, thence East along the south line of said Lot s~(6) to
the Southeast corner of said Lot six (6), thence South a dis-
tance of forty (40') feet to the Northeast corner of Lot seven
(7) in said Addition thence West along the North line of said
Lot seven (7) to the Northwest corner of said Lot seven (7),
thence North.a distance of forty (40') feet to the Southeast
corner of said Lot six (6), being the point of beginning.
All of which lots, alleys and streets were vacated by Declara-
tion of Partial Vacation of said Addition dated July 16, 1964
and recorded September 5, 1964 in Book 80, pages 65-69 as
instrument No. 2562 in the office of the Recorder of Hamilton
County, Indiana, above property be rezoned from R-2 to R-4.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
