An Ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance of Carmel,
Indiana-1959 as amended and as passed by the Board of Trustees
of the Town of Carmel, Indiana:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of
Carmel, Indiana, that Section 6-B of the zoning ordinance of
Carmel, Indiana-1959, being Ordinance Z-13, be and it is hereby
amended as follows:
Section 1. That the zone map identified as Carmel, Indiana
Zone Map, Sheet 1 of 2, and dated 1961 (revised July, 1966) which
accompanies and is part of the zoning ordinance above, is hereby
amended as follows:
That the real estate described in Exhibit A attached
hereto is hereby reclassified from S~ and EC-2 district
classification to district classification B-3,
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.

Part of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range
3 East in Hamilton County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning 1641 feet North and 743.08 feet East of the Southwest corner of the East Half
of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range 3 East at the inter-
section of the North line of a tract of land owned by George B. Burns and the East right
of way line of U. S. Highway #31, as relocated, as set out by preliminary plans for
Project ST-K-22 (9), dated 1968; thence South on and along said right of way line 491.20
feet; thence Southeasterly on and along said right of way line 70.40 feet; thence North-
easterly 165.85 feet to the West right of way line of U. S. Highway #31, as now located;
thence Northeasterly on and along said West right of way line to the North line of property
owned by said George B. Burns; thence West on and along said North line to the place of
beginning, containing 3.72 acres, more or less.

Legal Description of Area to be Rezoned
Part of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range
3 East in Hamilton County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning 987 feet North of the Southwest corner of the East Half of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range 3 East at the Southwest corner of a tract of land
owned by George B. Burns; thence Easterly on and along the South line of said tract of
land 403.03 feet, more or less, to the West right of way line of a proposed frontage road
to be constructed in conjunction with the relocation of U. S. Highway #31, as set out by
preliminary plans for Project ST-If-22 (9), dated 1968; thence Northerly on and along the
West right of way line of said frontage road 654 feet, more or less, to the North line of
said George B. Burn's property; thence West on and along said North line to the West line
of said East Half; thence South on and'along said West line 654 feet to the place of beginning,
containing 6.04 acres, more or less.
Subject to all legal easements and rights of way.
TRACT III
Part of the NorthwestQuarter of Section Thirty-Five (35), Township 18 North, Range
Three (3) East, described as follows: Begin 99 rods, 7 and 1/2 feet north of the Southeast
corner of the Northwest Quarter of said section and run north 327 feet, west 80 rods,
south 327 feet, thence east 80 rods to the place of beginning, in Hamilton County, Indiana.
EXCEPT A part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range 3 East,
Hamilton County, Indiana, described as follows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said
Quarter Section; thence Northerly 1, 968 feet along the East line of said Quarter Section to the
prolonged North line of the Owners' land;thence South 88 degrees, 50 minutes, 17 seconds
