AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN oF
CARMEL, INDIANA, ORDINANCE NO. Z-l, AS AMENDED, PASSED BY
THE TOWN BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF CARMEL, INDIANA,
ON THE Zlst DAY OF DECEMBER 1957, UNDER AUTHORITY OF CHAPTER
174 OF THE ACTS OF 1947, AND ALL ACTS AMENDATORY OR SUPPLE-
MENTAL THERETO, OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF
INDIANA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
CARMEL, INDIANA, THAT ORDINANCE NO. Z-l, AS AMENDED, IS
HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That the zone map identified as "CARMEL, INDIANA, JURISDICTIONAL
AREA, ZONE MAP, SHEET g of 2", which accompanies and is a part
of said Zoning Ordinance No. Z-l, as amended, is hereby changed as
follows:
An area described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herewith is reclassified from an
EC-Z zoning classification to a B-3 zoning classifi-
cation on said zone map.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
Passed by the Town Board of Trustees of the Town of Carmel, Indiana,

Project F-ZZZ (9) dated 1968, (revised January 19, 1970), and
the South line of the East Half of the Southwest quarter of Section
35, Township 18 North, l{ange 3 East 598.93 feet North 88
degrees, 32 minutes 30 seconds East (assttrned bearing) of the
Southwest corner of the East Half of said South~vest corner of
the East Half of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 88 degrees
32 minutes 30 seconds East on and along said South line 183.00 feet
to the Beginning Point of this description; thence North 00 degrees
05 minutes 35 seconds West parallel with U.S. Highway ~31
centerline aforesaid Z00.00 feet; thence South 88 degrees 32
minutes 30 seconds West parallel with said South line 38.00 feet
to the East limited access right of way line for U.S. Highway
#31, as located by said I. S. H. C. preliminary plans for Project
P-ggZ (9); thence North 00 degrees 05 minutes 35 seconds
West on and along said limited access right of way line 95.00
feet; thence North 88 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds East parallel
with the South llne of the Southwest Quarter Z60.00 feet; thence
South 00 degrees 05 minutes 35 seconds East parallel with U. S.
Highway #31 centerline aforesaid 295.00 feet to the South line
aforesaid; thence South 88 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds West
on and along said South llne ZZZ. 00 feet to the Beginning Point;
