AN ORDINANCE Ai~ENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
CARMEL, INDIANA, ORDINANCE NO. Z-160, AS AMENDED, PASSED BY THE
COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ON JANUARY 21,
1980, UNDER AUTHORITY OF ACTS OF 1979, PUBLIC LAW 178, SECTION 1,
et seq., (I.C. 18-7-4-101 et seq.) AND ALL ACTS AMENDATORY OR
SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL,
INDIANA, THAT ORDINANCE NO Z-160, AS AMENDED, IS HEREBY AMENDED
AS FOLLOWS:
That the zone map accompanying and made a part of Zoning
Ordinance Z-160, Sections 4.1-4.3, as amended, and the zoning
classifications of Zoning Ordinance No. Z-160, are amended to
reclassify and re-zone the following described property from an
S-1 Residential District Classification to the S-2 Residential
District Classification within the zoning districts and on the
official zoning map:
Part of Section 33, Township 18 North, Range 4 East in
Hamilton County, Indiana, being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter
of said Section 33; thence North 89 degrees 39 minutes 53
seconds East (Assumed Bearing) along the North line of said
Northwest Quarter Section, a distance of 2334.42 feet;
thence South 00 degrees 18 minutes 27 seconds East, parallel
with the East line of said Northwest Quarter section, a
distance of 295.16 feet to an iron stake; thence North 89
degrees 39 minutes 53 seconds East, parallel with the said
North line, a distance of 295.16 feet to an iron stake;
said stake being 18.0 feet West of the East line of said
Northwest Quarter Section; thence South 00 degrees 18
minutes 27 seconds East, parallel with the East line, a
distance of 795.04 feet to an iron stake; thence North 89

line of said Section, a distance of 30.6 feet to a point,
said point being a distance of 12.6 feet East of the East

District Classification within the zoning districts and on the
official zoning map:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 18
North, Range 4 East in Hamilton County, Indiana, being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast Corner of said Southeast Quarter
Section; thence North 00 degrees 15 minutes 26 seconds West
(assumed bearing) along the East line of said Southeast
Quarter Section a distance of 1760.20 feet; thence South 89
degrees 49 minutes 16 seconds West, parallel with the North
line of said Southeast Quarter Section, a distance of 740.00
feet; thence North 00 degrees 15 minutes 26 seconds West,
parallel with the said East line, a distance of 200.00 feet;

after its passage. Passed by the Common Council of the City of
Carmel, Indiana, on the 17th day of December, 1990.
