HomeMy WebLinkAboutZ-242 Rezone S-1 to B-3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE Z-160, A PART OF TRE MASTER PLAN OF TBE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ORDINANCE NUMBER Z-160, AS AMENDED, PASSED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ON JANUARY 21, 1980, UNDER THE AUTHORITY ACTS 1979, PUBLIC LAW 178, SECTION 1 ET SEQ., (I.C. 36-7-4-101, et seq.) AND ALL ACTS AMENDATORY OR SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, THAT ORDINANCE NUMBER Z-160 AS AMENDED, IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I That the zone map accompanying and made a part of Zoning Ordinance Z-160, Sections 4.1 - 4.3, as amended, and the zoning classifications of Zoning Ordinance No. Z-160 are amended to reclassify and rezone the following described proeprty from an S- 1 zoning classification to a B-3 zoning classification within the zoning districts and on the official zoning map: Part of the Southwest Quarter of section 6, Township 17 North, Range 3 East in Hamilton County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows, to wit: A tract of ground commencing at a point 39 rods south of the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, on the line between Boone and Hamilton Counties, thence South on said County line 42 rods thence East 3 degrees and 8 minutes north, 39 rods, 11 lengths to the center of the Michigan Road; thence West with the center of said road Northwest 49 rods, 16 lengths, west 26 rods to the place of beginning. SECTION II This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. Passed by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana on this _~__ day of ___~~---, 1989.
