The original rezone and conceptual site plan for Meridian
Corporate Plaza required the three-story building, now known
as Two Meridian Corporate Plaza, to be located entirely on
property zoned B-5. The B-5 zoning limited the height of any
structure that could be built on this portion of the property.
Unfortunately, an incorrect legal description was recorded and
does not match-up with the original B-5 zoning legal
description. Therefore, we currently have a situation where
a small portion of the Two Meridian Corporate Plaza site is
zoned B-6 and the building is not in conformance with the B-6
setback requirements. We would like to down-zone this
property to B-5 as it was originally intended to be zoned to
meet the letter and the spirit of the original re-zone request
and allow the Two Meridian Corporate Plaza building to meet
all setback requirements.
