FLOOR PLAN NOTES: 1 At commercial spaces, the concrete slab will be future. Only provide and install the compacted granular fill per the soils report to FINISH FLOOR elevation minus SLAB THICKNESS for the first floor. 2 Recessed access directory. Reference E-Series drawings. 3 Knox box. 4 Exterior walls adjacent to Commercial Tenant areas shall not have gypsum board included. Insulate per the wall type schedule without vapor barrier. All other exterior walls shall be insulated with vapor barrier and be sheathed. 5 Shaft walls are wall type S5Hi, U.N.O. See 3rd and 5th floors plans for doors. Enlarged plans indicate position. 6 Floor opening at shaft or chase in floor framing/ slab. Fill opening at the 2nd floor slab with a NER 258 assembly (2 hour). Typical at all shaft openings. 7 Chase for electrical cabling. 1-hour Fire assembly required at all floor/ceiling penetrations. 8 Mailboxes. Frame opening in wall for recessed Mailboxes with CSF header or bulkhead above. Provide substrate as required. Fire retardant wood if wood is used. Reference interior elevation. 9 Semi-recessed 1-hour rated fire extinguisher cabinet and extinguisher. 10 Corner bumper guard, typical at all outside corners, unless otherwise noted.
