AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF TI-IE CITY OF CARM~.I =
INDIANA, AlV~.NDING CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE 2,
SECrION 31, OF THE CARMEL CITY CODE, AS AM~.NDED:
WHEREAS, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ORDINANCE Z-160, AS AMENDED, PASSED BY THE
COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, ON JANUARY 21, 1980,
UNDER AUTHORITY OF ACTS OF 1979, PUBLIC LAW 178, SECTION 1, et seq.,
(.I.C. 18-7-4-101 et seq.) AND ALL ACTS AMENDATORY OR SUPPLEMENTARY
THERETO.
WHEREAS, THIS AMENDMENT CHANGES THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP FOR THE
CITY OF CARMEL AND CLAY TOWNSHIP, FROM A R-1 ZONED DISTRICT TO
A R-4 ZONED DISTRICT ON THE PREMISES COMMONLY KNOWN AS
1032 South Guilford Road, Carmel, IN 46032
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARMEL, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. Chapter 10, Article 2, Section 31, of the Carmel City Code, is hereby amended to
include in the R-4 Zoned District the following described real estate, to-wit:

Section II. All buildings or uses permitted and placed upon said described real estate shall
fully conform with all the provisions of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance and shall have
obtained the proper permits.
Section III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
signing by the Mayor.

Part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 18 North, Range 3
East, described as follows:
Begin at a point 4 rods West and 990 feet South of the Northeast comer of the West half of said
Southwest Quarter section; mn West 656 feet to an iron pipe; thence South 209.49 feet to an
iron pipe; thence East parallel with the North line of said tract 656 feet; thence North 209.49
feet to the place of beginning, containing 3.15 acres, more or less.

Part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 18 North, Range 3
East, described as follows:
Begin 66.0 and 825.0 feet South of the Northeast comer of the West Half of the Southwest
Quarter of said Section; thence West 656.0 feet to an iron stake; thence south 165.0 feet to an
iron stake; thence East 656.0 feet to the center of public road; thence North in the center of
public road 165.0 feet to the place of beginning, containing 2.48 acres, more or less.
