A SPECIAL Oi~DINANCE EOP~ THE ANNEXATION OF
cONTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO THE
TOWN OF CAtLlvlEL, INDIANA

WHEREAS, the o~vners of all the territory hereinafter described
have filed a petition for annexation thereof to the Town of Carmel, Indiana,
and~
said territory is urban in character, is an essential
and economic and social part of said Town.
NOW THEt{EFOIIE, BE IT OIIDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
Ti{USTEES OF THE TOWN OF CARivIEL, INDIANA that tke following
described territory in Clay To~vnahip, Hamilton County, Indiana be and
the same is hereby annexed to and shall hereafter be a part of the Town
of Carmel, Indiana:
A part of the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3Z, Township
18 North of Range 4 East in Hamilton County, Indiana, being
more particularly described as follows, to'-wit:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the East Half of the said
Southwest Quarter: running thence North 89 degrees 5Z minutes
55 seconds East upon and along the South line of the East Half
o£ the said Southwest Quarter a distance of 303.000 feet to a
point: running thence North 01 degrees 41 minutes 17 seconds
East a distance of 866.35Z feet to a point; said point being a
distance of 453.75 feet (DEED) 454. 530 feet (IViEASURED)
South 89 degrees 5Z minutes 55 seconds West of the Southeast
corner of the said Southwest Quarter Section: rt~nning thence
North 00 degrees Z7 minutes 28 seconds West upon and along
an existing fence line a distance of 1716.00 feet (DEED) 1705.099

TO CORRECT LEGAL DESCRIPTION
WHEREAS, the owners of all the territory hereinafter described
have filed a petition for annexation thereof to the Town of Carmel, Incl~ana,
and,
WHEREAS, said territory is urban in character, is an essential
and economic and social part of said Town.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF CARiviEL, INDIANA that the following
described territory in Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana be and
the same is hereby annexed to and shal~ herea£;er be a part.of the Town
of Carmel, Indiana:
A part of the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 32,
Township 18 North of Range 4 East in Hamilton County, Indiana,
being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
