Street on the West to College Avenue on the East.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
ll6th-Meridian Associates, by Michael G. Browning, General
Partner, does hereby petition for annexation of the real estate herein
described and in support thereof, says as follows:
1. Petitioner is the equitable owner of the following described
real estate located in Hamilton County, Indiana, to-wit:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section Thirty
five (35), Township Eighteen (18) North, Range
Three (3) East in Hamilton County, Indiana, described
as follows:
Begin at the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range 3 East;
run thence West along the north line of this Quarter
Section 772.0 feet to the intersection with the center
line of U.S. Highway ~31, thence South along this center
line 2625.75 feet to the intersection with the south
line of said Southwest Quarter Section, thence East
along this south line 774.1 feet to the southeast
corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 35, Township
18 North, Range 3 East, thence North on and along the
west line of said Southwest Quarter 2626.5 feet to the
place of beginning. Containing 3.01 acres in right of
way, a net area of 43.32 acres, and a total area of 46.33
acres, more or less;
EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING: A part of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range 3 East in
Hamilton County, Indiana, beginning at a point 607.70
feet east and 25 feet north of the Southwest corner of
the East half of said Quarter Section; said point being
the intersection of the east right-of-way line of U.S.
Road 31 and the north right-of-way line of ll6th Street a
the same are now established; running thence North along
the east right-of-way line of U.S. Road 31 a distance
of 175 feet; thence East parallel to ll6th Street a distance
of 175 feet; thence South parallel to U.S. Road 31 a
distance of 175 feet; thence West along the north line of
ll6th Street a distance of 175 feet to the place of
beginning, containing 7/10th of an acre, more or less;
AND EXCEPT: Part of the East Half of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range 3 East
in Hamilton County, Indiana, more particularly described
as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the center-
line of U.S. Highway #31 as located by I.S.H.C. Preliminary
plans for Project F-222 (9) dated 1968 (revised January
88 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds East on and along
said South line 183.00 feet to the beginning point of
this description; thence North 00 degrees 05 minutes
35 seconds West parallel with U.S. Highway#31 center-
line aforesaid 200.00 feet; thence South 88 degrees
32 minutes 30 seconds West parallel with said South
line 38.00 feet to the East limited access right-of-way
line for U.S. Higway #31, as located by said I.S.H.C.
preliminary plans for Project F-222 (9); thence North
00 degrees 05 minutes 35 seconds West on and along said
limited access right-of-way line 95.00 feet; thence
North 88 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds East parallel
with the South line of said Southwest Quarter 260.00
feet; thence South 00 degrees 05 minutes 35 seconds
East parallel with U.S. Highway #31 centerline aforesaid
295.00 feet to the South line aforesaid; thence south
88 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds West on and along said
South line 222.00 feet to the beginning point; containing
1.59 acres, more or less.
AND EXCEPT: A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section
35, Township 18 North, Range 3 East, Hamilton County,
Indiana, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection
of the east boundary of U.S. Road #31 and the north
line of said quarter section South 88 degrees 24 minutes
05 seconds West 722.00 feet from the Northeast corner
of said quarter section; thence North 88 degrees 24
minutes 05 seconds East 135.57 feet along said north line;
thence South 0 degrees 13 minutes 30 seconds East 2425.55
feet to a south line of the owners' land; thence South
88 degrees 24 minutes 05 seconds West 137.04 feet along
said south line to the east boundary of U.S. Road #31; thence
North 0 degrees 13 minutes 30 seconds west 2346.86 feet
along said east boundary; thence along said boundary
Northerly 78.75 feet along an arc to the right and having
a radius of 1859.86 feet and subtended by a long chord
having a bearing of North 0 degrees 59 minutes 17 seconds
East a length of 78.74 feet to the point of beginning and
containing 7.628 acres, more or less.
and requests that the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana,
enact an ordinance annexing said real estate.
2. The entire southern border of the above tract of ground
sought to be annexed coincides with the present and existing boundaries
of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
3. The annexation herein requested is in the best interests
of both the Petitioner and the City of Carmel, Indiana, and the
City can furnish said territory to be annexed governmental and
proprietary services equivalent and standard in scope to those
services furnished other areas of the City.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests that the Common
annexing the above described real estate to the City of Carmel,
Indiana.
