ANNEXATION ORDINANCE

Kingswood, Inc., an Indiana Corporation
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana,
is desirious of annexing the following described real estate;
and,
WHEREAS, the following
at least one-eighth (1/Sth)
to the present boundary of
decribed real estate is contiguous by
of its aggregate external boundaries
the City of Carmel, Indiana; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana, has heretofore defined
the corporate boundaries of the city and is desirious of annexing
the following described property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
city of Carmel, Indiana, that the following described real estate
in Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana, be and hereby is
annexed to and shall hereafter be, a part of the CitE o~Ca~mel~

AN INDIANA CORPORATION
PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
Kingswood, Inc., an Indiana corporation, being the owner of
more than 51% of the following described real property located in
Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana petitions the Carmel City
Council to annex the described real estate to the City of Carmel
and in support of the petition respectfully states:
1. The Carmel City Council has previously by ordinance
described and defined the corporate boundaries of the City of
Carmel, Indiana.
2. The following described real estate is contiguous to the
existing corporate boundaries in that at least one eighth (1/8)
of the aggregate external boundaries of the territory to be
annexed coincides with the boundaries of the City of Carmel,
Indiana.
3. The legal description of the property to be annexed is
as follows:
Part of the Northwest Quarter and part of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 4, Township 17 North, Range 4 East
in Hamilton County, Indiana, being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Northwest
quarter; thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds
East along the west line of said Northwest Quarter a
distance of 982.34 feet; thence North 89 degrees 49
mintues 38 seconds East parallel with the South line of
said Northwest Quarter a distance of 1329.03 feet to
the West line of the East half of said Northwest
Quarter, said point also being on the West line with
Wood Creek Section II, a subdivision in Hamilton
County, Indiana, the plat of which is recorded in Plat
