WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carm~:2-~nd~tnar~
desirous of annexing the following described real e~ta ,~gnd~
WHEREAS, the following described real estate is contiguous
to the existing City boundaries by at least one-eighth of its
aggregate external boundaires and perimtere borders to the
present boundaries of the City of Carmel, Indiana, and
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana as heretofore defined
the corporate boundaries of the City and is desirous of annexing
the following described property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Carmel, Indiana, that the following described real estate
in Hamilton County, Indiana, be and hereby is annexed to and
shall hereafter be apart of the City of Carmel, Indiana, owned by
Paul Lipps and D. Craig Sharpe consisting of 8.134 acres, more or
less: This Instrument Recorded ~ 1987
Simron K. Cherry, Recorder, Hamilton County, ind.
Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 28, Township
18 North, Range 3 East in Clay Township, Hamilton
County, Indiana, described as follows:
Beginning on the South line of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 28, Township 18 North, Range 4 East 230.00 feet
North 89 degrees 51 minutes 17 seconds East (assumed
bearing) from the Southwest corner of said Southeast
Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 51 minutes 17 seconds
East on said South line 562.00 feet; thence North 00
degrees 16 minutes 18 seconds West parallel with the
West line of said Southeast Quarter 445.50 feet; thence
South 89 degrees 51 minutes 17 seconds West parallel
with the South line of said Southeast Quarter 3.00 feet

that this Annexation Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
sixty (60) days after its final pub ' ' pursuant I.C. 5-3-1.
