ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO. ~-~ ' ~,3
(Foster Estates)
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana,
is desirous of annexing the following described real estate, and
WHEREAS, the following described real estate is contiguous
to the existing City boundaries by at least one-eighth of its
aggregate external boundaries and perimeter borders to the pre-
sent boundaries of the City of Carmel, Indiana, and
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana as heretofore defined
the corporate boundaries of the City and is desirous of annexing
the following described property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of Carmel, Indiana, that the following described real estate
in Hamilton County, Indiana, be and hereby is annexed to and
shall hereafter be apart of the City of Carmel, Indiana, owned by
Quadrant Development Co., Inc. consisting of 4.002 acres, more
or less:
See "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.
The Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, declares
that this Annexation Ordinance shall be in full

Annexation 146th Street R/W (40' South Side)
A parcel of land lying in the Northeast Quarter of Section 19 and the Northwest
Quarter of section 20, Township 18 North, Range 4 East being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 19;
thence on an assumed bearing of South 89 degrees 12 minutes 55 seconds East
along the north line of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 20 a distance of
40.00 feet; thence South00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East parallel with the
west line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 40.00 feet; thence North 89
degrees 12 minutes 55 seconds West parallel with the North line of said Northwest
Quarter a distance of 40.00 feet to the west line of said Northwest Quarter; thence
North 89 degrees 57 minutes 37 seconds West parallel with the north line of the
Northeast Quarter of said Section 19 a distance of 2657.22 feet to the west line of
said Northeast Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 02 minutes 09 seconds West along
said west line a distance of 39.99 feet to the Northwest corner of said Northeast
Quarter; thence South 89 degrees 57 minutes 37 seconds East along said north llne
a distance of 2657.24 feet to the Point of Beginning of the above described parcel
of land, containing 2.440 acres in Section 19 and 0.037 acres in Section 20, more or
less.

degrees 57 minutes 37 seconds West parallel with said south line a distance of
2657.24 feet; thence South 00 degrees 02 minutes 23 seconds West perpendicular to
said south line a distance of 25.00 feet to the Point of Beginning of the above
described parcel of land, containing 1.525 acres, more or less.
