ANNEXATION ORDINANCE

WIIEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Cannel, Indiana, is
desirious of annexing the following described real estate; and,
WItEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana, has heretofore defined the
corporate boundaries of the City and is desirious of annexing the following
described property.
NOW, TItEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Cannel, Indiana, that the following described real estate in Clay Township,
Hamilton County, Indiana, be and hereby is annexed to and shall hereafter be,
a part of the City of Carmel, Indiana:
See attached Exhibit "B".
The Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, declares that this
annexation ordinance shall be in full force and effect sixty (60) days after its
final publication pursuant to I.C. 5-3-1.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
The undersigned, being the owners of more than 51% of the following
described real property located in Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana
petition the Carmel City Council to annex the described real estate to the City of
Carmel and in support of the petition respectfully state:
1. The Carmel City Council has previously by ordinance described
and defined the corporate boundaries of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
2. The following described real estate is contiguous to the existing
corporate boundaries in that at least one eighth (1/8) of the aggregate
external boundaries of the territory Io be annexed coincides wi(h the
boundaries of the City of Carmel, Indiana.
3. The legal description of the property to be annexed is as follows:
See attached Exhibit "B".
